Creating Campaigns
This guide walks through creating a new campaign on Vexrail.
Prerequisites
Before creating a campaign, make sure you have:
- An active advertiser account.
- At least one project with a verified domain.
- At least one product added to the project.
- Funds in your wallet.
Step-by-Step
- Navigate to your project's Campaigns tab.
- Click Create Campaign.
- Fill in the campaign details:
Campaign Name
Choose a descriptive name that helps you identify this campaign (e.g., "Summer Sale - Pro Plan", "Q3 Brand Awareness").
Extra Info / Context
Optional additional context about the campaign. This can include notes about targeting intent or campaign goals.
Base CPC
Set the maximum cost per click you are willing to pay. This is the ceiling -- actual CPC may be lower depending on competition and relevance.
Budget
- Budget Amount -- The spending limit for this campaign.
- Budget Type -- Choose Daily (resets each day) or Total (lifetime cap).
Schedule
- Start Date -- When the campaign should begin. Leave blank to start immediately upon activation.
- End Date -- When the campaign should stop. Leave blank to run indefinitely.
Product Selection
Select which products from this project you want to promote in this campaign. You can select multiple products.
- Click Create.
After Creating
Your campaign is created in a paused state. To start serving:
- Make sure products are assigned.
- Make sure your wallet has sufficient funds.
- Toggle the campaign to Active from the campaign detail page.
Tips
- Start with a modest daily budget to test performance before scaling up.
- Use descriptive campaign names so you can easily distinguish campaigns in analytics.
- Assign products with detailed, accurate descriptions for better contextual matching.
